Illegal Dumping – Trailhead Parking Area!
We have been notified illegal dumping has been occurring at the Kuncanowet Town Forest and Conservation Area trailhead parking area. It is illegal to dump anything on town property. The Dunbarton Transfer Station has provisions for disposal of brush and other vegetable matter. The Dunbarton Police Department has been notified and as usual they will help. NO DUMPING signs have been installed where the dumping has occurred. If you see any suspicious activity immediately notify Dunbarton Police 774-5500. Do NOT confront anyone!
State Boat Ramp At Gorham Pond Is Now OPEN!
Fish & Game did an outstanding job at repairing the State Boat ramp at Gorham Pond. The project was completed as of Friday, October 11th. These pics are the finished product. According to Fish & Game the new ramp can now withstand heavy rains with no problem. The quote from them mentioned “…it would take a tidal wave to do any damage to this ramp now”. Please help keep the ramp safe and clean.
Next May 2025 we WILL be having a volunteer NH Lake Host program as well as a paid Lake Host position to help keep Gorham Pond free of Milfoil. If interested in helping out with this important endeavor for two hours on the weekend, please contact the webmaster.

To Our LGA
Friends And
Family
On behalf of the DeAngelis family, we are informing you of the sudden loss of our wonderful and amazing Dave DeAngelis.
The DeAngelis’ were one of the original owners at “Holiday Haven Acres” and members of the LGA in 1958. His family spent every summer at “the cottage”. As Dave grew up, not only did he spend his summers at the lake but soon most weekends in the spring and fall season as well. He passed his love of the cottage to his children and grandchildren who also have countless memories with him by the lake or on the boat.
Dave loved not only the lake, the beaches and the park, but also hiking the trails surrounding the lake. He was a proud board member. He was always willing to volunteer to clean the swimming beach, mow the second beach, barbecue at association cookouts, paint the swing sets and seesaws; anything which would help the association. The DeAngelis family hopes to continue to do all of the things that Dave would have done in the years to come.
In his memory, the family is accepting donations to the NH Lakes Association. This is the state organization behind the “Lake Host Program” which does the watercraft inspections at the Gorham Pond boat ramp. Your donation will only go to the local Dunbarton Lake Host Program. On the website, just specify your “favorite NH lake” as Gorham Pond and check off “in memory of” and type in: Dave DeAngelis. You may donate by following this link: Donation Form Thank you in advance for your kind donation in Dave’s memory.

History
The LGA was formed on August 14, 1958 for “the provision and care of walks, parks and commons, and to protect and maintain the two beaches and playground and the interests of all of the property owners of the Lake Gorham Association”.
We thank the founding members of the LGA for their dedicated work in establishing our organization.
Today we see the fourth and fifth generation of families enjoying our amenities along with the many new families who recently moved into our area.
We also want to thank the many volunteers who work countless hours maintaining the properties of the LGA. Without their dedication and love of the area, others may never know the area’s true beauty.
Our members continue to protect and enjoy Gorham Pond. Please take a few minutes to visit our other pages to become more familiar with our organization.
